How to Add an Email Account to Yahoo Mail

If you’d like to use your Yahoo Mail account to send and receive messages for an email account that’s hosted on HostM, use the following steps:

1. Ensure that you have already created the desired email account in your hosting account’s cPanel.

2. Sign in to your HostM hosting account’s cPanel.

   Your cPanel access details are listed on the hosting account’s Info page in the Client Lounge.

3. Under the Email header, click the Forwarders icon.

4. Make sure the email address you’re wanting to add to Yahoo Mail is not listed as forwarding email to your Yahoo Mail address.

   If you find such an email forwarder listed, delete the forwarder.

5. Visit the Yahoo Mail website using a web browser, then sign in to your Yahoo Mail account.

6. Click the gear icon, then click Settings.

7. Click Accounts, then click Add another mailbox.

8. Enter the following details:

   • Email address: (Full email address of the email account)

   • Password: (Password of the email account)

9. Follow any further on-screen instructions that may appear.

10. Click Done, then click Save.

You should now be able to use your Yahoo Mail account to send and receive messages for your newly-added email account!
