To fix or update your outgoing mail (SMTP) settings on an iPhone or iPad

  1. Tap the Settings icon on your device.

  2. Select Mail.

  3. Select Accounts.

  4. Select the email account you wish to modify.

  5. Select Account.

  6. Select SMTP.

  7. Select the entry labeled Primary Server.

  8. Enter the following details:

    • Server: On

    • Host Name: smtp.example.com
      (replace example.com with your actual hosted domain)

    • Username: (Full email address of the email account)

    • Password: (Password of the email account)

    • Use SSL: On

    • Authentication: Password

    • Server Port: 587

  9. Select Done on the top-right.

You should now be able to send out email on your iPhone or iPad!
